This is Lucky (name changed), better known as the pet dog of II LT2, made famous by acts like these 1, 2. He was pretty pumped up on the first day, met the prof, guarded the gates, but has been sleeping ever since. And, he’s known to disappear on quiz days.

Random crow, eating fries on a tree near Fx. Don’t miss the ketchup.

Minors in 31 days. Rendezvous in 51. It is obvious what I’m looking forward to.

Some photos from (yet another) week at ma callege, back home for…mainly laundry and 10hr sleep. Posting some photos of the picturesque insti building, more stuff coming soon. I knew what all I had to write while I was amidst it all, but I had no time then, and I haven’t still started studying!

(Photo shot at sunset on the insti roof. But it can be easily assumed the it is in fact, sunrise.)
After a 4 day 3 night stay at Aravali, IITD, I’m back home. All orientation & registration procedures are thankfully over and classes begin at 8am on Monday.
I’ve got two roommates (both are Delhiites) and we’re three in a room meant for two (thanks to Arjun Singh.) But that’s not at all an issue, for me at least. Size of room per person ratio makes the room fit for sleeping alone, which is a great excuse to roam around the campus (as you can see, I’ve been to the insti roof!)
Food in the mess is quite delicious actually, and I’m optimistic that it’ll remain the same. Or there is the canteen area just opposite to my hostel (Fx/Slice of Italy etc.)
No reports of ragging yet, but I did have some ‘healthy interactions’ with some seniors. “Hostel kaun sa hai?” “Aapka vala.” “Arey yaar, kabhi milo toh sir keh kar wish toh kar diya karo…” “Jaroor sir!”

Just as we (Ujwal, Arpit, Mridul and me) came out of the hall, came this madam from Aaj Tak and that camera guy. “Hello, ek minute loongi, first day first show…”
I was first in line, and couldn’t stop giggling. Result: I’m sure my part will be cut. Others did fine. Mridul made sure that madam from Aaj Tak knew that the last book will be made in to two parts.
Oh man, Ujwal is *so* happy.
This officially ends all trips to cinema halls/gaming cafes/pool cafes/other cafes, before we join college. So. Much. Fun.
